Central Security Group, based out of Oklahoma, has wrongfully been taking money from me since January. This establishment is the epitome of typical snake-like salesmen and representatives. Terrible company! Terrible customer service! With all the complaints they have against them 440 with the BBB you would think they wouldn't want to lose another customer or have another negative review! I had the system put in a year ago, it was a mess from the beginning. We moved out of our house and cancelled the contract by phone and then confirmed it by e-mail in mid-December 2015. They secretly continued to bill my credit card for months and were careful not to send me any receipts or confirmations. The only way we found out about it was because we had to get new cards due to a fraud alert, so the old card no longer worked. They couldn't keep charging the card so they sent us a bill in the mail. Sold my previous house in July 2015. Still had 3 months of service left with the company. We paid 3 months worth of payment despite no service having been provided as we had to use different company at the new house due to HOA mandate. We jumped through all the hoops to ensure we send them written notice of termination of the contract and that they did get the notice to terminate service. That was in September 2015. I was happy with them for 6 years. But after getting forced into retirement, and not having the budget I used to - I called to end my service. I told them why. I got passed around on the phone, offered a couple of free months to start a new contract, told that even though my contract is long expired I need to give advance notice in order to end service. We have had a terrible experience with Central Security Group - stay away!! Over the past 7 years we've experienced numerous system outages. It takes forever to get a hold of customer service and when you do, nothing can be fixed over the phone and they have to send someone out for service which takes days to schedule. Been with them for 3 years, signed a $48 a month monitoring fee. Today after our contract is up in 1 month, they call and say "why are you short paying your fee by $2.00? We said our contract said $48 !!! now we owe like additional $72 !! Had them for over 5 years. Sold my house and called customer service to discontinue service, as I did with other utilities company without any problem whatsoever. CSG refused to cancel my contract, instead they wanted me to continue paying, however I explained that I was building a new house and it would take 6-8 months to be completed. 90% of the compaints I see are complaining about the annual contract renewal. This is clearly discussed in the contract. If anything, the dealer is responsible for explaining this. It's also the customers responsibility to read the agreement. Luckily, i read the contract and have been nothing but pleased with their services Read more

After my alarm went down for a couple weeks with no attempt by CSG and local guys to repair, I cancelled their service in writing and had another service put in. They continued to bill for full service for several months and then turned over to a collection agency when I did not pay for service not received.
